About Facebook Pixel
Facebook Pixel (now Meta Pixel) is a developer tool by Facebook that allows you to track any visitor activity on your website. It’s a JavaScript snippet that you can add to your website and start tracking visitor actions such as page views, clicks, and add-to-cart events. The tracked metrics, also called events, appear on your Meta Pixel page in Events Manager.
Webhooks allow you to send the events generated via the RudderStack SDK to your own backend. It is useful in cases where you want to apply some custom logic on the event payload before sending it to your preferred destination platforms.
Once webhooks are enabled as a destination in your dashboard, RudderStack forwards the SDK events to your configured webhook endpoint.
