# BigQuery Stream (All Events): General Availability

BigQuery Stream (All Events) is now Generally Available on all RudderStack plans. The destination streams all event types to BigQuery in near real time through the BigQuery Storage Write API while managing tables with the same warehouse schema as the batch BigQuery destination.

Why we built this integration

The previous BigQuery Stream integration inserted only
track
events into a table you create ahead of time. You matched each
track
property to a column in that table, because the destination didn’t create or change the schema. To load every other event type into the standard warehouse tables, you used the batch BigQuery destination and waited for each sync.

We built BigQuery Stream (All Events) to remove that trade-off. It streams every event type in near real time and manages tables with the same warehouse schema as the batch destination, using BigQuery’s lower-cost Storage Write API.
