PagerDuty Source
Ingest your event data from PagerDuty into RudderStack.

PagerDuty is a SaaS platform that helps you prevent and resolve business-impacting incidents, thereby improving the customer experience.
This guide will help you set up PagerDuty as a source in RudderStack.
Get started
- Go to your RudderStack dashboard and click Add Source. From the list of Event Streams sources, select PagerDuty.
- Assign a name to your source and click Continue.
- Your PagerDuty source is now configured. Go to the Settings tab of the source and note the Webhook URL:
- Log in to your PagerDuty account.
- Go to Integrations > Generic Webhooks (v3) and click New Webhook.
- Enter the webhook URL obtained in Step 3, and other required details:
- Click Add Webhook.
Event transformation
RudderStack ingests all events mentioned in the PagerDuty documentation after converting them into the RudderStack event format. It also maps the following properties from the PagerDuty event payload to the RudderStack properties:

How RudderStack creates the event payload
This section details how RudderStack receives the data from PagerDuty source and creates the resulting payload.
