# Shopify ID Resolution

We have updated our Shopify integration to perform identity stitching for client-side and server-side tracking. 

RudderStack internally performs identity stitching and sets the same `anonymousId` for the same user in client-side and server-side events.

You need not take any action (like updating or reinstalling your RudderStack Shopify app) to use this feature.
