# SFTP Destination

Today we launched [SFTP](https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/destinations/reverse-etl-destinations/sftp/) as a Reverse ETL destination. Now you can use RudderStack to send your warehouse data to downstream apps via SFTP.

SFTP stands for SSH File Transfer Protocol. It is a secure file transfer mechanism to access, transfer, and manage your files over a reliable data stream.
