# Klaviyo API Version 2026-04-15

<p>The <a href="https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/destinations/streaming-destinations/klaviyo/setup-guide/" >Klaviyo destination</a> now supports API version 2026-04-15.</p>
<p>New connections use API version 2026-04-15 by default, while existing connections keep their saved API version until you change it via the <strong>API Version to use</strong> destination setting. API version 2024-10-15 remains selectable but is deprecated.</p>

<h2 id="important-considerations">Important considerations</h2><p>For API version 2026-04-15, the selected <strong>Consent</strong> channel must match an identifier in subscription events: <strong>Email</strong> consent requires an email identifier and <strong>SMS</strong> consent requires a phone identifier. The event fails if no selected channel can be resolved.</p>
