# JavaScript SDK Session Refresh Behavior

RudderStack's JavaScript SDK now continues the user session in multiple tabs/windows simultaneously without overwriting each other.

When the SDK renews a session on a given page, then the other pages (having the expired user session) also continue the session from the first page upon new activity.
