&lt;li>&lt;strong>Creating a new workspace&lt;/strong> requires a RudderStack account.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Joining an existing workspace&lt;/strong> through an invite link doesn&amp;rsquo;t require a RudderStack account. Any sign-in option on the Lookout login page works.&lt;/li>

&lt;h2 id="2-create-or-join-a-workspace">2. Create or join a workspace&lt;/h2>&lt;p>A &lt;a href="https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/lookout/workspaces/" >workspace&lt;/a> is the container for your team&amp;rsquo;s chats, dashboards, connections, and knowledge.&lt;/p>

&lt;li>If a teammate has already set up a workspace, ask them for an &lt;a href="https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/lookout/workspaces/inviting-teammates/" >invite link&lt;/a>. Opening the link prompts you to sign in with RudderStack; to use a different sign-in method, sign in at the Lookout login page first, then open the invite. Once you accept, you are added as a member.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Otherwise, create a new workspace and give it a short, URL-friendly name (its slug).&lt;/li>

&lt;li>Select &lt;strong>Add account&lt;/strong> and choose your warehouse type — PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Enter the connection details and save.&lt;/li>
