# Alpha and Beta Features


RudderStack releases early access features in two different stages based on their maturity level:

#### Alpha features 

[Alpha features]({{< ref "get-started/introduction/alpha-and-beta-features/alpha-features.md" >}}) are very early in development and are often experimental. They are functional and we encourage you to try them, but we highly recommend [connecting with the Product team](mailto:product@rudderstack.com) or your [Customer Success Manager](mailto:support@rudderstack.com) before using them in production.

#### Beta features

[Beta features]({{< ref "get-started/introduction/alpha-and-beta-features/beta-features/" >}}) are stable and have been tested by our team and early users, but are actively being changed and improved based on feedback before they are made generally available.
