Public Beta features are stable, production-ready and available to all RudderStack users. These features have undergone extensive testing and are considered safe for production use. While they may still receive updates and improvements based on user feedback, they offer reliable functionality with minimal risk.

The following sections explain each of the Public Beta features that are a part of RudderStack’s Data Governance offering.

Bot management

Note that:
Bot management is available in the Growth and Enterprise plans.
This feature supports only the following web sources:
JavaScript
Flutter
AMP Analytics

RudderStack’s Bot Management feature detects, flags, and drops bot traffic at the source to improve data quality and reduce costs in your data pipelines.

With this feature, you can:

Detect bot events on web sources using user agent analysis.
Flag bot events for downstream analysis or drop them entirely.
Apply global bot management settings across all web sources.
Configure custom bot management settings for individual sources.
Monitor bot event volume patterns through source metrics.

Rudder CLI

The Rudder CLI tool lets you manage RudderStack resources as code, including Tracking Plans and the Data Catalog, SQL models for Reverse ETL, Event Stream sources, and Transformations.

You can define resources in YAML files and use Git-based workflows for collaboration and version control.

RudderAI in Dashboard

RudderAI in Dashboard is a side-panel chat assistant in the RudderStack dashboard. You can monitor pipelines, debug issues, analyze data quality, and get documentation answers without leaving the page you’re on. This feature is currently available for new signups only.

Rudder Lookout

Rudder Lookout is an AI analytics and activation agent for marketing teams. You describe the customers you want to reach in plain language and the agent builds the audience from your warehouse data, shows you what is in it, and sends it to the destinations your team already uses. You can also ask questions about your data and save the answers as dashboards.
