Data governance

The following sections explain each of the Public Beta features that are a part of RudderStack’s Data Governance offering.

Tracking Plan Codegen

The Code Generation (Codegen) feature in Tracking Plans automatically generates language-specific code snippets based on your defined event schemas. This streamlines the instrumentation process by providing accurate code represents the schema definition, including:

  • Clear structure of the properties object
  • Correct keys
  • Examples that represent the correct data type
  • Comments that specify whether properties are optional

See the Release Notes for more information, or Tracking Plan Code Generation (Codegen) documentation to get started.

Bot management

announcement

Note that:

RudderStack’s Bot Management feature detects, flags, and drops bot traffic at the source to improve data quality and reduce costs in your data pipelines.

With this feature, you can:

  • Detect bot events on web sources using user agent analysis.
  • Flag bot events for downstream analysis or drop them entirely.
  • Apply global bot management settings across all web sources.
  • Configure custom bot management settings for individual sources.
  • Monitor bot event volume patterns through source metrics.

See the Bot Management documentation to get started.

AI features

The following sections explain the RudderStack AI features currently in Public Beta.

Rudder AI

RudderStack’s Rudder AI feature is an AI-powered Slack assistant that helps your team monitor, debug, and manage RudderStack pipelines from Slack.

You can use Rudder AI to check event volumes, analyze delivery failures, review tracking plan compliance, test transformations, and query RudderStack documentation — all through natural language. It operates with read-only access and automatically masks PII, so your data stays protected throughout every interaction.

See the Rudder AI documentation to get started.

RudderStack MCP

RudderStack MCP connects your AI assistant to your RudderStack workspace via the Model Context Protocol.

With this feature, you can debug delivery errors, monitor pipelines, write and test transformations, review audit logs — all through natural language.

See the RudderStack MCP documentation to get started.
