Beta features overview

RudderStack offers two types of Beta features based on their availability and maturity level:

Public Beta features

Public Beta features are stable, production-ready and available to all RudderStack users. These features have undergone extensive testing and are considered safe for production use. While they may still receive updates and improvements based on user feedback, they offer reliable functionality with minimal risk.

Some key characteristics of these features are as follows:

• Available to all users without special access requirements
• Production-ready and stable
• Comprehensive documentation and support available
• May receive feature enhancements based on user feedback

Private Beta features

Private Beta features are early-stage features available to a limited set of users for testing and feedback. These features are still under active development and require special access.

Private Beta features may have limited functionality or undergo significant changes before general availability.

Some key characteristics of these features are as follows:

• Limited availability — requires special access
• May have limited functionality or stability
• Subject to significant changes during development
• Ideal for early adopters who want to test upcoming functionality
