# Setup Guide

This guide will help you set up Topsort as a destination in the RudderStack dashboard. It also lists the configuration settings required to correctly send data from the supported sources to Topsort.

## Setup

In your [RudderStack dashboard](https://app.rudderstack.com/), add a source. Then, from the list of destinations, select **Topsort**.

### Connection settings

| Setting | Description |
| :----| :-----|
| Name | Assign a name to uniquely identify the destination. |
| API Key | Enter the Topsort API key obtained from **Settings** > **API Integration** in your Topsort platform. | 

### Configuration settings

Configure the below settings to receive your data correctly in Topsort.

| Setting | Description |
| :----| :-----|
| Consent management settings | Configure the consent management settings for the specified source by choosing the **Consent management provider** from the dropdown and entering the relevant consent category IDs. See [Consent Management in RudderStack]({{< ref "data-governance/consent-management/overview.md" >}}) for more information on this feature. |

### Event mapping settings

| Setting | Description |
| :----| :-----|
| Event mappings | Click **Set-up mapping** to map the RudderStack events to Topsort events. <br /><br />Specify the [RudderStack ecommerce event]({{< ref "event-spec/ecommerce-events-spec/" >}}) from the dropdown. Then, select the corresponding Topsort event to map from `clicks`, `impressions`, and `purchases`.  |
