The Audience Builder is a visual, no-code tool in the RudderStack dashboard that lets marketers create targeted customer segments directly from the Data Graph.

You can define audiences by combining conditions on entity properties, related records, behavioral events, and existing audiences — all without writing SQL.

Overview

The Audience Builder leverages the Data Graph to create audiences by combining conditions on entity properties, behavioral events, and existing audiences, allowing you to build targeted customer segments without writing any SQL.

Create an audience

1. Select a root entity from the Data Graph.
2. Add one or more conditions using the condition builder. You can filter your audience using the following conditions:

3. Preview the audience size — make adjustments to the filtering conditions as needed.
4. Save the audience and sync it to one or more supported destinations on independent schedules.

Here’s how you can create a sample audience named High Value Customers that are not a part of the loyalty program:
